Founded by attorney and former print and broadcast reporter Olivier Gibbons, Court Story understands and respects the critical nature of privileged and confidential communications.

Olivier personally handles each client and brings a distinctive combination of media, legal, and business experience to every engagement.

His background spans media relations, marketing, internal communications, litigation, on-air reporting, legal correspondence, and freelance writing. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1999.

Olivier earned his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, an M.A. in journalism from The Ohio State University as a Kiplinger Fellow, and a B.A. in rhetoric and communication studies and English from the University of Virginia.

Lisa Cooley

Lisa Cooley is an award-winning television anchor, reporter, producer, and communications leader with more than 17 years of newsroom experience in New York and Los Angeles. A multiple Emmy Award recipient, she has covered defining national stories including September 11, the Olympic Games, and the O.J. Simpson civil trial.

During her broadcast career, Lisa served as a morning anchor and reporter for ABC and as an evening, morning, and noon anchor, reporter, and producer for CBS. That experience gives clients an exacting understanding of how stories are evaluated, shaped, and delivered across live television and today’s fast-moving media landscape.

Her leadership experience also extends beyond the newsroom. Lisa has served as communications director for a law firm, a principal in real estate, Head of School for a Montessori program, and general manager of an education startup. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
